“We have been with the Apple Trees family now for nearly three years. My husband and | work full time and our youngest (now 3) started when he was just 8 months old. Both of my children have been through the baby room, where they both had an incredibly positive experience. As a parent you worry about leaving very young children in a nursery, but the staff have accommodated their dietry, sleeping and every other need to make it a good experience for us all.
The staff are all incredibly caring and one of the things | like most about the setting is that all the staff know all the children. This facilitates really smooth transitions between rooms when the time comes. My children are both in for long hours and they always have packed and interesting days. We have been particularly impressed with additions to the curriculum including Rugby Tots and baby singing classes. I know that my children love this and as s working parent it is nice to feel that the children aren’t missing out on these extras. The new soft play and sensory room has been a particular hit with my daughter.
Jessica, Sam and their team really do try and support all the families at Apple Trees. They are helpful and flexible when we need to extend hours at either end of the day and have been thoughtful when assisting my elderly father, who picks up my son. I know that when I leave my children at Apple Trees they will be cared for to the highest standard and this enables me to get on with my day without worry.

“I started my daughter at Apple Trees 2 years ago, and she has loves her time there. The rooms are small and cosy and she has gotten to know all of her classmates really well and has a lovely bond with her key worker (and her previous ones as well).
The reason | chose Apple Trees was it’s small, friendly atmosphere and the lovely garden, which is used all the time, was a huge plus. I also like the inside/ outside classroom arrangement. Another huge plus for me was the food which (I understand from my daughter and her apparently enormous helpings) is absolutely brilliant! Home cooked on site, healthy and nutritious every day.
It’s all a really big plus for me knowing she is happy and healthy during her time away from home.”

“My son has attended the pre-school Ladybird room since he was 2 1/2yrs old and he thoroughly loves his time there. It’s a small and homely setting in a beautiful village, with lots of activities and outdoor areas. I think my son sees it as a home away from home. The staff are all really great and we love seeing all the activities he gets involved with. His social, language and fine motor skills have really developed in the time he’s been there and we’re so happy with his progress that we’ve decided to keep him at Apple Trees right up until he needs to attend reception year at the local school.
I Highly recommended for a great value nursery that is in a really convenient location to serve the villages and surrounds, and also has easy access to the M1 for commuting parents.’

“Our little girl started in Caterpiller room in January aged 15 months. With it being her first time in a childcare setting and only doing 1 day a week we were a little apprehensive about how she would settle in, but Candice and Molly have been amazing at getting to know her, settling her in and letting us know how she was getting on!
She has come on leaps and bounds since she started and we love getting the updates on Tapestry as well as on the Facebook page! We couldn’t be happier that we chose Apple Trees for Sophie and can’t wait until the lockdown is
over to see what she gets up to when she moves up to Butterflies!”

“Both my children have attended Apple Trees since they were 7/8 months old and started in the baby room. I loved the fact it had a separate sleep room with their own cots which gave me comfort in Knowing their sleep
routine wouldn’t be affected. My Son is still in the baby room and has settled so well with the support and such genuine care from the lovely staff in the room.
My Daughter is now in the Ladybird (pre-school) room and has loved her time at Apple Trees, building friendships with children and staff. More than anything the high standard of care and trust has always enabled us to work
whilst knowing our children are being well looked after in a loving, happy and homely environment with amazing resources to support and encourage their development.”

“Our son has been attending Apple Trees since he was 8 months old. He’s now 3 and we wouldn’t look anywhere else for his childcare. We are so impressed with the care, kindness, love and understanding the staff at Apple Trees provide. In our opinion, it is the perfect substitute to us while we can’t be there for him due to both of us working full time. The biggest plus is the small and ‘homely’/family atmosphere.
He’s developed meaningful relationships with the staff there and fully respects them. They plan structured and inspiring activities to engage children of all ages and our son is forever talking about things he’s done during the day. He can’t wait to attend each day and misses them when we are on holiday. The setting provides a variety of learning environments with a lovely garden full of garden toys, and outdoor classroom, growing garden, sensory room etc all of which he loves.
He enjoys food from the well balanced menu and is often reported to have had seconds or even thirds!
We also appreciate the digital feedback which we receive through the tapestry app, it’s a fab way of keeping up to date with his progress and we can add our own posts so they can see what he gets up to at home with us.
Overall, we’ve been very happy with our sons progress both academically and emotionally and already have our 2 month old daughter signed up for September.”

“Bobby joined Apple Trees at 10 months when I went back to work. From day 1 I had no worries about leaving Bobby as I knew he was in the best of care! The staff are all lovely and so caring.
He’s now 2 and in the butterfly room, he’s made so many little friends, and I love looking on Tapestry to see what he’s up too.
The girls are great with Bobby, I’d recommend Apple Trees every time. It’s a warm and friendly home from home and we all love it so much”
