At Apple Trees we have a fantastic premises with great facilities and a safe and tranquil setting but we know that the thing that sets us apart from other nurseries and preschools in the area is our experienced, qualified and friendly practitioners . Our staff work together as a team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment that the children can feel secure in. They are also all highly qualified to give your child the best possible start on their learning journey.
The practitioners are always keen to add new strings to their bow and love to take on new courses and training. We actively encourage this and spend a large part of our budget on training and making sure that our team are adequately equipped to give the very best to the children in our care.

I am mummy to Harry and Albie and it was while looking for local childcare myself that I realised there was not a great deal of good, affordable, and flexible childcare available. Working with my sister, Jessica, we put our minds together and Apple Trees childcare was born. In my free time I love to watch my boys play football. I love to travel and explore new places and to meet up with friends and family. I am so proud of what we have achieved at Apple Trees and with such a brilliant team behind me I know we can move forward to even bigger and greater things.

From the age of 17 I loved coaching how to play football. I then decided to carry out my NVQs in childcare. I worked in various nurseries, travelling quite far, when my sister approached me with the idea of starting our own one here in Flamstead. We started with 6 children and 1 assistant and look where we are now. I have been working with children for 19 years and I enjoy it so much as everyday is different. We have a fantastic team of practitioners and it's a happy place to be.

I have a daughter Keeley and a son- Reggie. I have been working in childcare over 20 years and loved every minute of it! My name is Sarah! I have been working with children for 18+ years now and I can't believe how quickly it has gone! I've always wanted to work with children since looking after my cousin when she was young. My favourite things are singing and dancing with the children and encouraging them to use their imagination and express themselves. I like watching the children explore their senses and seeing them grow is so rewarding! Since starting Apple Trees I have had my own daughter Daisy who attends the after school here and has attended Apple Trees since she was 9 months old.

My name is Katie and I have been working within child care for 16+ year. I’m love my time here and I have really enjoyed seeing the Pre School learn and grow. My name is Nikki and I’ve been working at Apple Trees since 2022. I have worked in childcare for 19+ years and love what I do. Teaching and nurturing children is such a rewarding role to have. Watching the children develop and learn new skills as they spend time at nursery is amazing to see. I lead a busy life as I am also a mum to three beautiful children, one of whom still attends Apple Trees. When I’m not at work I love to bake, go for walks or bike rides with my partner and children and socialise with family and friends.

Hi my name is Hollie and I work in the Snail room. I've been working with children for around 10 years now! I worked at Apple Trees for 5 years before leaving to work in L&D hospital in the NICU. Now I've had my beautiful little girls Lily and Ava, I do part time in both jobs. I spend most of my spare time running around after the girls and going to the shops! Hi im Zorrainer, I’ve been at Apple Trees now for 1.5 years and I absolutely love working here. I have 4 children ages ranging between 2.5 and 21 years old, my youngest Cody also happily attends Apple Trees. Working in childcare is such a rewarding job and I’m honoured to be able to be a part of the children’s journey here, my favourite part of my role is seeing the children use their imaginations and watching their little personalities develop as they move through the rooms. Hi everyone, my name is Maisie and I’ve been working in childcare for nearly 2+ years now after I moved back to Flamstead after living in Bournemouth for 2 years! I really enjoy working in all rooms but have been in pre-school since I started at Apple Trees.
